I'm working on a cognitive research project, and seeking an analog to the Symbol Search subtest of WAIS III. I'm trying to sample from "quick detail discrimination/attention to detail", and my subject pool is undergrads, so I need a test that produces a normal distribution of scores, not a neuropsych measure with a low ceiling (Benton Visual Form Discrim is too easy.
Anyone have any ideas, or know if SS was derived from some older test?
Thank you for any help,
Ben |
