I'm an author working on a book related to spirit communication history, lore, and use.

I'm looking to have a brief telephone interview with a PhD who can discuss (at a high level) the nature of hallucinations and be quoted in my book.

I'd be looking for a comment on hallucinations that are not drug-related. I'd like to hear what is happening in our mind when we have a hallucination. For example, a dream is a hallucination. Is that the same part of the brain that can trigger a waking hallucination?

Please contact me for more information. My deadline is this week. I'd appreciate anyone who can offer a quote.
