Hi Everyone,
I am a Research Coordinator at the Brain Trauma Foundation, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan. We are in the midst of 3 studies investigating a new method of identifying concussions and assessing attention and memory deficits caused by mild Traumatic Brain Injuries in children and adults. BTF is collaborating with the Department of Defense, the James S. McDonnell Foundation, and several leading medical universities to test a newly developed eye tracking device that is able to detect the possible concussions by assessing attention delay in less than 1 minute.
If you know any individuals or have seen patients between the ages of 7-74 who have had a mild Traumatic Brain Injury, who have been diagnosed with ADD, or are healthy and would like to be a part of our control population, please please send them our way. All referals would be greatly appreciated, especially from those of you in the Greater New York area. Participants will be compensated and those who have not sustained a traumatic brain injury will be able to use these baseline tests if they ever have a concussion in the future
For more information on the Brain Trauma Foundation, please visit www.braintrauma.org. Feel free to contact me at any time to voice any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your consideration and support. I look forward to hearing from you!
Best,
Jodi Kanter |
