FPA is accepting presentation proposals for consideration to become continuing education workshops at the summer convention. Convention will be held June 21-24 in St.Petersburg.
Continuing education workshops must be a minimum of one hour in length and may include one to four presenters. To have your presentation considered, course materials must be pertinent and accurate; contribute to the area of practice, theory or methodology; be didactic and not experiential; be at the post-doctoral level; and be of client benefit.
Topics may include but are not limited to:
Ethics/ Florida Laws & Rules Prevention of Medical Errors
Domestic Violence
Forensics Behavioral Science Assessment/Intervention
Psychologist Self-Help Supervision Management
Therapy/Intervention Multiculturalism Advocacy
Marketing and Social Media Practice Related Issues
If your proposal is approved and becomes a workshop at the 2012 annual convention, FPA will:
Provide complimentary 2012 convention registration; AND
Pay one night’s stay at the convention resort (room and tax only); AND
Reimburse your travel cost (if traveling over 60 miles each way).
Proposals must be received no later than Friday, December 2, 2011
