Hi.. My name is Claire. I am a undergraduate Neuroscience and Psychology double major at King's College in Pennsylvania. I will be graduating soon and I'm still not really sure what job opportunities are available out there. I know that I absolutely have to go to graduate school, but I'm not sure if I want to waste time there if I dont know what field to focus in. I know that I dont want to do research and I was seriously thinking about doing something with children, but I would like to stay in a medically related field and help people. I have done work here with behavioral neuroscience and some animal research.
If you have any ideas that could help me out or maybe even a place to go to for some more information, that would be fantastic. Thanks so much. |

Have you thought about a Psy.D degree in clinical psychology or clinical neuropsychology? I'm pretty sure you could specialize in pediatrics if you wanted to. These programs are not as research oriented as Ph.D programs. Alternatively, you could get a masters in social work or an M.D. if you're interested in going to medical school. Hope this helps some.
