Specific Job Functions:

• Provide neuropsychological evaluations for inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics.
• Consultation to Behavioral Health, Behavioral Support Team and Medical Clinics throughout the hospital.
• Coordination neuropsychological assessment referrals from adult and child inpatient psychiatry units.
• Evaluate patients for cognitive delays consistent with diagnosis of mental retardation.

Teaching and Supervision
• Provide rotation specific supervision of pre-doctoral psychology intern and extern
• Provide neuropsychology seminar for psychology interns and/or externs
• May teach and supervise residents in psychiatry, neurology, and rehabilitation medicine.
• Provide informal training and education in neuropsychology to staff members in the Behavioral Health Unit.

Job Requirements:
• Doctorate in Psychology with specialization in Neuropsychology from APA Accredited graduate program in Psychology
• Pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in Neuropsychology. Preference given to programs with APA Accreditation
• Current and valid New York State License in Psychology
• Familiarity/exposure to Wellness and Recovery Model of Treatment preferred
