---
The Saint Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI), an academic affiliate of Saint Louis University Health Science Center, is pleased to announce the availability of three (3) postdoctoral fellowships for the 2013-2014 training year.

We will be hosting an Open House for prospective applicants on Saturday, January 12, 10-11:30am, at SLBMI, RSVP by 12/21/12 (see below).

Two full-time postdoctoral fellowships are in the Anxiety Disorders Center (ADC), which is a multi-disclinry program for the evaluation, treatment and study of obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, phobias, generalized anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and related anxiety disorders. The ADC offers evidence-based, state-of-the-art, comprehensive treatment including cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT), exposure therapy with response preventioin, medication, and other adjunctive interventions. A full spectrum of care is offered including Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), partial hospitalization, and individual, group and family therapy on an outpatient basis. ADC postdocs are trained and supervised in providing specialized, intensive treatment for individuals with anxiety and related disorders, including those that have not benefited from prior treatment due to symptom severity and treatment-interfering behaviors.

One additional full-time postdoctoral fellowship is a Dual Position, with about 75% of time spent with the Psychology and Religion Program, and abut 25% with the ADC. The Psychology and Religion Program includes a variety of multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment options for clergy and religious professionals. Its primary client base is Roman Catholic, but the program is open to all faith traditions and denominations. There is a conscious effort to integrate evidence-based psychological and medical approaches to healing with spirituality. Psychological services for religious professionals include the treatment of obesity, comprehensive psychological testing, and assessment services to religious candidates. The postdoctoral fellow participates in individual and groups therapy (including the Fitness and Active LIfestyles Group), and psychological evaluations, in the context of both outpatient and intensive therapy.

Deadline for Applications: February 15, 2013. Application form and further information may be found at www.slbmi.com or in our APPIC listing (www.appic.org). The contact person for postdoctoral fellowships is Julie L. Hill, Ph.D. (postdoc@slbmi.com), Director of Postdoctoral Education. SLBMI is an equal opportnity/affirmative action employer.
