Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology
Tampa General Hospital
Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Rehabilitation Services invites immediate
applications for two Post-Doctoral Fellowship positions in
Rehabilitation Psychology. TGH is a 1000+ bed community teaching
hospital, affiliated with the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.
The Post-Doctoral Fellowship is a one year, clinically focused
position that involves one six month rotation with a primary focus on
Spinal Cord Injury and one six month rotation with a primary focus on
Acquired Brain Injury. Minor rotations may be available in Pediatric
Rehabilitation, Chronic Pain Management, Acute Trauma, Bariatrics and
Outpatient Neuropsychology.
Responsibilities specifically include: clinical work throughout the
continuum of patient care, clinical presentations, participation on
multidisciplinary teams and participation in weekly didactic seminars
and a variety of grand rounds. Opportunity for applied clinical
research is available. Required qualifications include: (1)
Applicants must have completed a doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in
Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA approved program and
completion of an APA approved internship prior to start date of
mid-September 2013; (2) be interested and experienced in the clinical
assessment and treatment of medically complex individuals and their
caregivers, with rehabilitation experience is a plus; and (3) have the
desire to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Salary is
