Hi. I'm starting college in a year and am going to major in psychology, minor in biology. I'm just wondering how many years I'm going to have to go to college for psychology before I can go to grad school for neuropsychology? I want to go into the clinical field instead of expiramental. Thanks for reading |

Hi Chrissy,
You can go to college for 20 years if you want, as long as you have a bachelor's degree when you leave. You have to graduate from college if you want to go to graduate school. Then you can either try to go straight into a doctoral (PhD or PsyD) program, or go to a master's program and try to do a doctorate afterwards. But worry about college first! Also try to get some research or clinical experience through an externship--ask your school's psychology department once you're settled in, I'd recommend starting that in your sophomore or junior year.
Good luck!
