I'm an undergrad looking to ultimately become a clinical neuropsychologist, or possibly a pediatric neuropsychologist. I figure I have a little bit of time to figure out exactly where i'd like to end up. I'll be graduating with my B.S in psychology in two years and I'm very excited to move on from there. I'm very interested in topics such as autism, depression, anxiety, and self-injury, and especially in dealing with children and teens.
So I'm basically wondering if anyone has read any particularly good literature on these areas of interest that also include the neuropsychological aspect of these issues. I've searched around, but I figured who better to help me with my search then people who themselves search for neuropsych research and journals. I'm really most interested in the self-injury and self harm aspects, as it is something that I've gone through and that has really affected me in my own life.
Thank you all in advance for your help. Any other advice you're willing to share about anything is also very much appriciated!!!
