Could you direct me to any available norms for common tests on HRNB or CVLT-II for Asian or Hispanic populations? I know that Heaton has published new norms for Africian-Am & Caucasian.Thanks.

The HRNB manual partially addresses this issue. As I recall, they have a pilot study w/ a small N (about 50 or so) and recommended use of the African American norms for hispanics. This is obviously a less than ideal solution, but is probably the closest available answer if you want to use the HRNB tests in their existing form.

You should also be aware of the batteries by Marcel Ponton et al (publishing out of UCLA - Harbor Med Center) and by Fortnoy et al (Publishing out of Tucson). For my money, the Fortnoy work (Bateria Neuropsicologica en Espanol) is the best bet. It has a comprehehsive selection of tests and includes norms across a wide range of ages (roughly 20-89) and a wide range of eductional levels (no schooling to 16 years).

Hope this helps.
