I have an expert in Neuropsychiatry who was scheduled for a deposition. He is my expert in a closed head injury case. He charges $600 per hour for deposition time. The defense attorney refuses to pay saying that this fee is unreasonable. The case is in South Carolina.

Can someone tell me what the typical fee or average fee or national average fee for depositions by a neuropsychiatrist with over 20 years experience and all the credentials?

I believe the fee is reasonable.
