This is the context: Although the present technology of neuroimaging studies may help determine the volume and shape of the brain structure invoved in a specific cognitive task, they cannot provide information about the timing and rapid order or neuonal firing, nor can they show the oscillations between cortical and subcortical brain networks that are hypothesized to bind and integrate neural systems ( Durston et al.,2001;Stern & Silbertsweig,2001). ( This is an excerpt from ADD in Adults, by Dr. Lynn Weiss.)
I'm translating this into Spanish, and a literal translation is not always the best option. Would "timing and rapid order be the "synchronization" of neuronal firing? _________________ ADD en Adultos |
